Supporting Our Community Through Charity 🌟

At St Thomas’s Lodge 1914, we are proud to have made over £1500 in donations to local foodbanks over the last few years. 💪 This achievement reflects our deep commitment to aiding those in need and contributing positively to our community.

Why Charity Work Is Important to Us in Freemasonry:

  1. Living Our Values: Freemasonry is founded on principles of brotherhood, relief, and truth. By engaging in charitable activities, we put these principles into action, demonstrating our dedication to helping others.
  2. Community Support: Charity work strengthens the bonds within our community. By supporting local foodbanks, we ensure that vulnerable families have access to essential resources, fostering a sense of unity and support.
  3. Personal Growth: Participating in charity work allows our members to grow personally and spiritually. It’s an opportunity to practice empathy, kindness, and generosity, enhancing our character and enriching our lives.
  4. Legacy and Impact: Our charitable efforts leave a lasting impact on the community. Every donation and volunteer hour contributes to building a better future, one where no one has to go hungry.
  5. Inspiration and Leadership: We aim to inspire others to take action. By leading through example, we encourage fellow Freemasons and community members to join us in making a difference.

Together, we can achieve great things. Let’s continue to support our local foodbanks and uphold the charitable spirit of Freemasonry. 🤝✨
